These Terms explain the conditions for using the LUNA bots on KakaoTalk and Discord, the LUNA Dashboard, and the official website.
1. Service Description
LUNA provides conversation tools, information lookup, games, and room-management features on KakaoTalk; music, server management, Luna Forest, and Support Tickets on Discord; and message relay between selected KakaoTalk rooms and Discord channels. Available features may vary by platform, room or server settings, and operational status.
LUNA is independently operated. It is not an official service or product made, sponsored, or endorsed by Discord, Kakao, Google, Naver, YouTube, or any other external platform.
2. Conditions of Use
- Users must follow applicable law and the terms and age requirements of Discord, KakaoTalk, and any other platform they use.
- Anyone adding LUNA to a server or room, or configuring management features, must have authority to do so in that server or room.
- Dashboard server-management features may be used only by an account verified as the Discord server owner or an administrator.
- Some features require platform permissions such as access to message content and server members, role management, reading message history, or connecting to voice channels. A feature may not work when required permissions are unavailable.
- KakaoTalk LUNA is available only in rooms connected and enabled by the operator. There is currently no public invitation link.
3. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for messages, images, attachments, links, AI requests, and server-management actions they submit or relay. Users must not infringe another person's privacy, copyright, or other rights. Server and room administrators should appropriately inform members that LUNA's logging and relay features are in use.
Before using the Dashboard or management commands to grant or remove roles, kick or time out members, or change log channels, users must confirm the target and permissions. Information, weather, market data, and AI responses provided by LUNA are for reference and are not professional legal, medical, investment, or safety advice.
4. Prohibited Use
You may not use LUNA to:
- Violate law, platform policy, or another person's rights
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, expose personal information, or monitor others without consent
- Send spam or mass mentions, distribute malicious links or files, or disrupt the service
- Exploit vulnerabilities, bypass authentication or authorization, or attempt to steal tokens, cookies, or secrets
- Access or relay messages or logs from another room or server without authorization
- Send excessive automated requests, reverse engineer the service, or destabilize its operation
- Use AI or relay features to create or distribute illegal content or infringe another person's rights
5. External Platforms and Services
LUNA uses Discord APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and DMs; KakaoTalk and the Iris integration environment; Google Gemini; OpenRouter; and providers of music, search, weather, and market information. Outages, policy changes, content removal, account restrictions, or API changes at an external service may delay or disable part of LUNA.
Messages and attachments sent through Discord or KakaoTalk are also subject to that platform's terms and policies. Users are responsible for securing their external-service accounts and permissions.
6. Data and Privacy
See the Privacy Policy for the information LUNA processes, retention periods, external disclosures, and deletion methods. Using the service may require data processing necessary for the requested feature. If you do not agree with the Privacy Policy, stop using LUNA or the relevant feature.
7. Service Changes and Discontinuation
LUNA may add, change, restrict, temporarily suspend, or permanently discontinue features for improvement, security, maintenance, platform API changes, cost, or operational needs. We will try to announce material changes through the website or service notices when practical, but advance notice may not be possible for urgent outages, security issues, or external-platform actions.
LUNA currently provides no separate paid plan, uptime guarantee, service-level agreement (SLA), cash value for game items, or compensation for interruption.
8. Limitation of Responsibility
LUNA aims to provide a stable service but does not guarantee error-free operation or permanent data preservation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility may be limited for issues caused by external-platform outages, network failures, incorrect user settings or commands, permission changes, third-party content, or events beyond reasonable control.
LUNA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of AI responses, search results, market data, weather information, music information, or user-generated content. Verify the original source before making an important decision. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Restrictions and Suspension
If a user violates these Terms or platform policy, or creates a risk to the service or other users, LUNA may restrict the relevant command, feature, user, room, or server, or stop a relay. Restrictions may be applied without advance notice in an urgent security or abuse situation. Where practical, we will explain the reason and how to request review.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when service features or operating conditions change. We will update the effective and last-updated dates and, where practical, announce material changes through the website or service notices. Continued use after a change may be subject to the updated Terms; where separate consent is legally required, the applicable process will be followed.
